Candy Hearts:

Candy hearts are often used since they add an extra sugary sweetness. The writing on them doesn't necessarily have to be nice...

Rainbows:

Rainbows are associated with dreams, and often appeared in fantasy children's cartoons like My Little Pony and Care Bears.

Vintage Fabric:

Pastel coloured fabrics are super popular with remake brands like Nile Perch and Spank! - If there isn’t enough fabric, just “remake” another item using the fabric as an applique!

Animals:
Animals regularly appear, especially when they’re a cute simplistic style (think retro childrens wallpaper). A certain popular sweater features this motifs! Bunnies, cats, pandas, and unicorns are regularly found in fairy kei coords~

Icecream/Soda/Milkshakes:
80’s American TV show characters would be shown hanging in their favourite milkshake bar, or sipping on a fresh soda float. They’re super dreamy too, so they’re a popular fairy kei motif!

  2. I love this! It's hard to distinguish fairy kei and Spank! kei, since both are heavily influenced by 80's toys, don't you think? I guess there's a bit more black in Spank! kei, and that makes the difference. I'll also love to follow!
