If you’re into idols and rhythm games, this brand new game may be perfect for you!
It’s name is GIRLS BEAT STAGE and it’s a rhythm game featuring your favourite idols, including Dear Stage artists (Dempagumi.inc, Moso Calibration, ENGAG.ING) and indie idols like CY8ER and Maneki Kecak 🌸

It’s still a little rusty but the developers are regularly updating the game with new, smoother features.
Overall, it’s pretty similar to other rhythm game apps, but if you don’t speak any Japanese then you might find yourself a little lost because there’s a LOT of buttons and options!

💖 HOW TO PLAY 💖

I’ve translated the “How to play” slides that are shown at the beginning of the game and during downloads!

“Your combo will increase as you tap PERFECT and GREAT notes. A BAD note will deduct one stamina point, while a MISS note will deduct two. Lose too much stamina and you won’t be able to continue your LIVE! Make sure to time your taps carefully and aim for a high score🎶“

“You’ll receive Star Points according to your LIVE Score. The higher your score, the more Star Points you’ll receive! You can choose which member within your team will receive the points. Strengthen your favourite member using your Star Points!”

“You can add as many members from the same set to your team as you want! You’ll receive bonus Star Points with each matching member. The higher the rarity, the more Star Points you’ll earn!”

The more Star Points a member has, the higher her Star Stage rank will become! You may even receive a reward as her Stage rank increases. The higher your rank, the better the reward!

You can train your members with “Training Lessons”! The members skills will increase alongside their level! Skill up your cards and challenge yourself by playing harder songs.

Clear songs and play the Premium Gacha to gain cards! Use Dia to play the Premium Gacha, and Friend Points to play the Friend Gacha.

There are four song difficulties: EASY, NORMAL, HARD, and EXPERT. If you’re a beginner then start with EASY and gradually increase the difficulty. Train your cards and challenge yourself to higher difficulty songs!

First we’ll look at the Premium Gacha ✨

💖 PREMIUM GACHA 💖

As of writing, there are three boxes to scout in.
The “Pick Up” scouting usually features a certain group or set of cards.
The second tab is the regular Premier Gacha which contains all of the cards with no boosts on specific groups.

The Friend Gacha uses your Friend Points, and will only offer Normal and Rare idols.
You can scout once for 100 Dia, or pull a 10+1 scout for 1000 Dia. Each 10+1 pull guarantees an SR or above.There are three rarities in this box: R, SR, and UR!
If you have one, you can also use your UR Guaranteed ticket here... 👀
There is also the option to do a solo pull for just 20 paid Dia! 💎

💖 TRAINING LESSONS 💖

This is the blue “Lesson” tab, which focuses on your team 💜
From here you have three options!
Adjust your teams with the blue “Team Formation” tab, or skill up your members with the “Training Lessons” and “Evolution Lectures”. Evolution Lecture requires two duplicate, maxed out cards.
Whoever is your centre on your Main team will appear on your homepage!

Here’s a quick overview on how to strengthen members using the Training Lesson:

Increase your members level by choosing the idol you want to level up and then selecting which idols to sacrifice 👀
You can also use items to increase her Live Skill, which can be found in the bottom left. (This cards skill is Score Up Giga)

✨STAR STAGE✨

Now for the Star Stage! This is something that you don’t often see in rhythm games and is a way of showing support to your favourite idols! It updates each week, giving you rewards depending on your rank/how many Star Points you give to your idols.

You’ll receive points after a LIVE Performance which you can use to increase your idols rank in the STAR STAGE - You may even receive prizes depending on your rank/how many points you’ve given that particular idol.

This is the individual idol Star Stage ranking! You’re ranked based on how many points you’ve given to each individual idol... I basically give all of mine to my favourite idol, Rinahamu 💙
